Verona Carpenter wins competition with school design for Neurodiverse population

Our design for a Learning Lab School at the University of Louisiana at Lafayette is a winner of the Redefining Learning Spaces competition. Our proposal, Landscape of Learning, grows out of our belief that a school designed to support a neurodiverse population is a school that’s better for all learners, with or without special needs. It encourages students and teaches alike to participate in - and contribute to - a healthy and sustainable community embedded in its physical and social context.
