Jennifer Carpenter, AIA

Principal

Jennifer Carpenter is a founding principal of Verona Carpenter Architects and has practiced as a licensed architect since 1998. She believes that architecture must play a key role in creating a more inclusive world, and as the mother of a neurodivergent son she is personally and professionally dedicated to making environments where neurodiversity can be embraced and supported. She loves leading the complex, collaborative process that great projects demand. Jennifer is a New York City SBS Mentor for minority and women-owned businesses, and is an active member of the American Institute of Architects’ NYC Social Sciences Committee. She served for six years on the Board of Directors of the Quad Preparatory School, a school for twice-exceptional learners, and was a founding Trustee of the Museum of Food and Drink. She is a LEED Accredited Professional.
