Alder tables
For this East Village restaurant we designed affordable custom tables that look beautiful while solving several problems for the owner: the tops, made of rubber sheets in standard sizes, reduce noise levels by creating an acoustically absorbent landing spot for dishes and flatware, without resorting to the operational headache of tablecloths and placements. The rubber sheets pop easily out of their bronze surround and can be dropped into the dishwasher for cleaning.
