350 HUDSON STREET FACADE

LOCATION: NEW YORK, NY
STATUS: PHASE 1 COMPLETE 2022; PHASE 2 COMPLETE 2023

VCA designed new cladding and windows for this 1930’s building, removing a pink granite façade from the eighties and restoring the original monumental window openings while improving the thermal performance of the envelope. The large operable steel windows allow tenants to create an indoor/outdoor feel when desired, and each bay includes a decorative upper louvered panel that can be connected to mechanical systems, giving the tenants easy access to fresh air and the building owner flexibility in demising the space. The project includes all new exterior lighting and building signage, as well as the repainting of the upper floor mullions to coordinate with the ground floor improvements.
